Our Independent Living & Life Skills Programme is designed to help young people and young adults develop the practical skills, confidence, and independence needed for everyday life. Through structured, hands-on learning, participants are supported to become more self-reliant while building routines that promote wellbeing and active participation at home and in the community.
The programme focuses on essential life skills including personal hygiene and self-care, meal planning and basic cooking, household management, laundry and cleaning, time management, budgeting and money skills, travel training, digital literacy, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making. Learners also develop social confidence, community awareness, and workplace readiness through practical activities and real-life experiences.
